The Control and Systems Engineering Department Organized a Visit to the Central Library at the University of Technology for First-year Students

 

  The Control and Systems Engineering Department organized a visit to the Central Library at the University of Technology for first-year students from the Mechatronics Engineering Branch, under the supervision of Lect. Dr. Qamar Qasim Muhammad, Dr. Alya Abdulredha , and Lect. Nour Qasim Yousef. During the visit, the students were taken on a comprehensive introductory tour of the various sections of the library, where they were directed on how to use the book and dissertation search program available in the library. The facilities and services provided by the library to students were also introduced, which enhances their research culture and contributes to facilitating access to important scientific sources.    The Department of Control and Systems Engineering participates in recognition ceremony of trainee students at Asiacell Communications Company

   

  On behalf of our department, Dr. Sherin Sadiq participated in the honoring ceremony and awarding of summer training certificates held by Asiacell Communication Company on Sunday, 12/8/2024. All Iraqi universities were invited to participate in the summer training program held in Baghdad Governorate.    The Control and Systems Engineering Department Organized a Seminar on the Impact of Financial and Administrative Corruption on the Quality of Education and the Students Level

  

  The Control and Systems Engineering Department organized a scientific symposium entitled “The Impact of Financial and Administrative Corruption on the Quality of Education and the Students Level" delivered by (Asst. Lect. Ali Hamki Mahdi), the Director of the Human Resources Division. The symposium addressed several main topics, as the lecturer began by explaining the importance of higher education as a fundamental pillar in building society and advancing it towards progress, stressing its vital role in achieving sustainable development. The lecturer then addressed the definition of financial and administrative corruption, explaining its dimensions and negative effects, and then reviewed the most prominent manifestations of corruption in educational institutions. He also showed how this corruption affects the quality of higher education and leads to a decline in the academic level of students, which negatively affects educational outcomes and society in general. The symposium concluded with a set of recommendations and proposed solutions to confront financial and administrative corruption, including enhancing transparency and oversight, activating deterrent laws, raising awareness of the importance of integrity, as well as supporting scientific research to improve the quality of education.    You_Are_Not_Alone The Blind Cane, the second stage in the Department of Control and Systems Engineering

 

  Within the campaign (You Are Not Alone) for the blind cane led by the special needs child Muhammad Al-Mustafa and in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior - Department of Relations and Media, the Control and Systems Engineering Department hosted this activity on Thursday 12/5/2024. This activity targets Iraqi universities, institutes, and schools in multiple stages in order to raise awareness and educate about the importance of the blind cane, which is a symbol of independence for the blind. The head of the department, Prof. Dr. Azad Rahim, welcomed the delegation of the Ministry of Interior with the child Muhammad Al-Mustafa, and then everyone headed to the university presidency where a meeting was held with the assistant president of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Farhad Othman. Then, Muhammad Mustafa gave a lecture in the conference hall in the department about the use of the cane by the blind to ask for assistance from others. Awareness brochures were also distributed in the university corridors to the students.
