The Department of Control and Systems Engineering participated in the university competition for graduation projects for the year 2023/2024 with ten graduation projects for the final stages, which were evaluated by a scientific university committee composed of Prof. Dr. Iyad Rawdan Abbas, Asst. Prof. Dr. Bassam Hamid Abdel Mohsen, and Lect. Dr. Amir Musa Thuwaini. After presenting the summary presentation by the department’s students for their projects on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, the university committee chose the winning project by the student Abdul Karim Ahmed Khamis, who is a student in the fourth stage of the Control Engineering Branch, and his supervisor, Asst. Lect. Amer Abed Mansour. This project is one of the practical projects, and its title is: ‏Design and Implementation of a CNC Machine for PCBs This project will participate in a broader competition that includes all university departments to obtain the first three places, and the winning projects will be honored by the honorable President of the University.
