Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Al-Ghaban, the Control and Systems Engineering Department held the eleventh comprehensive scientific exhibition for robots and manufactured devices. The exhibition was held on Monday, April 22, 2024, by the department’s students and professors, with a large number of participations and productions, as it exceeded eighty manufactured projects simulating important applications for the labor market and the needs of society. The President of the University opened the exhibition, which was supervised by Prof. Dr. Azad Raheem, the Head of the Control and Systems Engineering Department, and was attended by a number of department and center directors and university employees, in addition to external parties from security and service institutions interested in this scientific activity. The department adopts such an activity at the end of every academic year to display what machines and robots have been manufactured within the department. Manufacturing the devices starts at the beginning of the academic year and is completed near its end. This year’s exhibition was distinguished by the participation of students from the first and second stages. It was also characterized by the participation of double the numbers of previous years. It carries various scientific ideas and applications, some of which are graduation projects for undergraduate students and others for postgraduate students and research projects of the professors of the department. All projects are being completed in the Automation and Robotics Research Unit in the department. We congratulate the efforts of all those in charge of the exhibition, which aims to enhance the practical and scientific aspect of our students and researchers in a way that serves the country. Participating projects are subject to evaluation by a specialized scientific committee for the purpose of honoring the winners with the highest evaluations by the department.
